We encourage clients to adopt an accounts software package appropriate to the size of their operation. HMRC are introducing Making Tax Digital from April 2019, whereby all businesses will eventually be expected to submit quarterly returns. 
Making Tax Digital will affect virtually every business. Only the smallest trade will be exempt from submitting quarterly returns. It is becoming an absolute necessity to maintain computerised records. We will help our clients achieve this; advising on software and supporting the initial training. We can also assist in the preparation and the review of these quarterly records. 


We provide payroll services for the majority of our clients requiring a payroll. We use up-to-date payroll software enabling us to deal efficiently with the demands of the HMRC RTI submissions. We are able to calculate maternity and paternity pay, statutory sick pay, holiday pay and also advise on redundancy. 
Since 2016, there has been a phased introduction of Auto-Enrolment Pensions. Many small firms can opt out of Auto-Enrolment depending on the make-up of their workforce. We can advise on this and also monitor staging dates and compliance with Pensions Regulations. Once auto-enrolled, we can run the pension scheme within our payroll schemes advising the pension provider of contributions alongside submitting the HMRC RTI reports.
